J. W. Myers, one of the top baritone recording artists of this period, was a versatile singer – able to reach into both the bass and tenor ranges.   Here, he sings this very popular tenor sentimental ballad, written in 1898 by Andrew B. Sterling with music by Harry Von Tilzer: The same songwriting team that wrote, among other hits, the September 2010 Cylinder of the Month, Under the Anheuser Bush.
