Enjoy this recording of a popular quartette ballad written by the pioneering
black American composer of Tin Pan Alley songs, Gussie L Davis (1863-1899).
Written in 1898, My Creole Sue was one of the last of Davis' over 200 compositions
before his death in 1899 at the age of 36.
